Description
Tai Kwun is committed to nurturing local animation talents, providing emerging artists with a space for continuous innovation and perfection. The 2026 edition of the Searchlight mentorship programme will feature six new works created by the Searchlight alumni, highlighting/showcasing their creative growth and artistic breakthrough.
Under the seasoned guidance of The Electric Canvas, along with local multimedia artist Ng Tsz Kwan and sound designer Roy Cheung, the Searchlight artists are encouraged to expand their artistic practices in projection mapping and enrich their skills in animation development.
The programme is made possible with core funding provided by The Hong Kong Jockey Club through its Charities Trust as one of Tai Kwun’s arts and heritage programmes, and Indosuez Wealth Management as the Lead Sponsor.
